relay for life 2012

The local Relay for Life was a success. The weather was gorgeous. The turn-out was great.

And the munchkin won two prizes!

She won for most money raised by one person. And most money raised online.

She got SO excited when people applauded for her that she started clapping too.

Awesome.

So much cuteness!

A HUGE thanks to all of you who donated money.

On a related topic, a long-time friend of PeterDeWolf.com shared the link to her cousin’s website. In her own words:

I just wanted to pass along my cousin Terri’s blog (http://gracefulwomanwarrior.com/) Terri is 37 years old, originally from Vancouver and Bowen Island, lived in NYC for over ten years and just recently relocated to Ohio with her husband and daughter. Terri was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer this past winter (less than two years after losing her mother to binary cancer), and she started her blog to keep her family updated and also to inspire and reach as many people as possible.

If you get a chance, you should check it out.

Thanks!
